Thanks to everyone who took the time to review and respond to the survey this season; we appreciate your feedback and suggestions.  The survey results are posted below.

We are pleased to see that overall we have a high level of satisfaction with the club, and are committed to making improvements wherever we can. To that end, we are reviewing all of the comments and specific suggestions to see how best to address them. In the interest of preserving anonymity and space, we have not included the comments here, but are giving careful consideration to them all. We have already implemented some of your suggestions (black-out dates for member parties, replacing the lost and found shopping cart with deck storage, reminders not to reserve picnic tables for extended periods of time, and providing the front desk with more information about programs and contacts, to name a few), and will be exploring others where we can provide additional benefits at a reasonable cost.

Based on input from prior years, our current policy on member parties strives to strike a balance between support of members hosting personal parties at the club and ensuring the club is available for the use of all members to the fullest extent possible.

The Board is reviewing HHSC's long-term capital plan – each year a portion of the dues are budgeted to help fund larger capital items as needed to maintain and improve the Club. Top priority is given to any safety or regulatory compliance issues, but we want to solicit your input on the priorities for areas of the Club needing repair, replacement, and/or improvement. Using the numbers 1 - 12, 1 being the highest, please indicate the priority you would place on each of the items listed below.

The results of this survey question will help direct future capital investments. Because available funding is limited, large items would probably require commercial financing. Assuming repayment costs were reasonable (for example, $75 per family per year for 5 years), please indicate whether you feel the club should attain outside financing in the form of a loan to fund each of these items. Recent examples include the replacement of the pool and the renovation of the clubhouse.

You are making no commitments at this time; based on the interest expressed, the Board would investigate and bring the details to the membership at a Special Meeting for a vote before incurring any debt.
